Dec 28 My latest obsession - Audeze LCD-3 Planar Magnetic Headphones

I'm sitting on my couch with these headphones on my head as I type this blog post, and I must say that I couldn't be happier! These things sound amazing, I mean really amazing, and I can't think of a better way to decompress from a long day at the office. Funny thing is that I listen to these cans at the office too! Like I said, they are the latest obsession and I can't put them down.

The reason I'm writing this post is because it hit me... I'm here listening to Miles Davis' - Kind Of Blue record in true lossless audio coming into my ears at 192Khz/24Bit, and the sound is served by these marvels of technical achievement, and it's amazing. There aren't words for it, just a smile and a head bob. I am grateful for the opportunity to enjoy music in this way, it makes me humbled and honored that people create music for others to enjoy. And people create products like these LCD-3s to allow people to enjoy music in its purest form. This love for what you do is apparent in this whole experience. It reminds me how I love to create and design, and music inspires me. I love what I do because I can enjoy my passion for music while I'm working... And the people who make the music, the headphones and even create the album art all did it because they love it too. It shows, and I appreciate it. Funny how simple it can be.
