Had a chance to sample this beer in NYC and Ioved it! Gotta find it again so I can have another taste! 

In Chelsea there is a rooftop bar/eatery called Gallow Green. Its a really hip place with pretty people, and the food, drinks are good too!  

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my hands (Thanks M) on a bottle of 40yr Glenfarclas. It was for my birthday that just passed and I invited some close friends to have a dram with me to celebrate. There was about 13-14 of us and we all got to taste what this fantastic distillery created. It was surprisingly bold, refined and a new challenge in my scotch adventure. I loved it and if you ever have a chance to taste it, please do. 

The best Crown Royal creates in this extra rare blend. The distillery has since burned to the ground making this a once in a lifetime treat. The finish is fantastic and sweet like you would expect. If you have a chance to try it, do it.

The Glenfarclas highland malt 25yr is currently my favorite scotch. The smooth finish and sweet taste are exactly what I look for in a scotch. Each of the single malts are great and this bottle remains a staple in the Chavez house.

​I love red wine and my favorite type is currently a Tempranillo from Spain. The finish is similar to a Malbec but somehow smoother and lighter. I was turned on to this wine by my friend (and whom I respect for his taste) Eryck Chairez. 

My favorite amber beer. Smooth, tasty, and tastes excellent when super cold.​

Nothing beats it in my book, preferred on rocks with a water back.

​I love Guinness and I especially love it when my woman and I share a glass together. Its the absolute best way to end a meal or evening. And its good for you!

Beautiful color and composition. The beer is literally a bouquet of smells that comfort you as you drink it. Have a glass next time you can.
