The RED Cinema Camera - Red Dragon has just received the highest sensor score ever for a digital camera. The score of 101 points makes this the most powerful sensor to be compared to film. The camera can take pictures safely up to 3000 ISO and performed beautifully.
This 6K camera has the ability to export any still image from is sequences and this pictures can be used as 19MP stills. Its really amazing how far the technology has come in such a short time. I remember when digital cameras came out!
We would love to get our hands on one of these bad boys to try it ourselves. Never before has film making been so accessible for the masses. And with technology jumps like this, the industry as a whole will change, just like the music industry did in my opinion.
